This set of scripts was written to help rate songs on headless Macs running iTunes. It basically comes down to providing an easy way to rate songs with just a keyboard. It provides verbal feedback for the user as well, so you know if it worked. NOTE: iTunes must be the front running application in order for these apps to work. There are lots of switchers that can make this happen (there are also some workarounds I can share as well, but they are harder to configure, so not documented here).

The "?" option now announces the current rating of the song. The "?" option only changes the rating of a song if it is changed from the current rating.
